Updated Kemper Center Holiday Hours for the 2019 Season! 

 

November 30: Christmas at Kemper 23nd Annual Opening Night Gala, 6 -10 p.m. at Anderson Arts Center, 6603 Third Avenue. Featuring an exhibition, auction and raffle of designer-decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and other holiday decorations. This is the 23nd annual event.

December 1 – December 8: Gallery of Trees at Anderson Arts Center, 6603 Third Avenue. Stroll through an amazing display of beautifully, creatively decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and mantle pieces throughout the entire mansion. 8th Annual Art/Coloring Contest Entries & Winners. Free admission.

December 1 – January 12: Durkee Mansion Open House & Raffle at Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Avenue. The historic mansion is lavishly decorated for the period in celebration of Christmas. The former home of Senator Charles Durkee was built in the 1860’s and is decorated for the holiday season by dedicated and talented volunteers. Free admission. Please note: Hours below are subject to change.

 Mrs. Claus’ Café. Featuring café refreshments and cookie decorating at Kemper Center in Founders Hall.

December 1: 8th Annual Snowflake Jazz Free Community Concert, Doors open at 6 p.m. in Simmons Auditorium at Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Avenue. Concert runs from 7 – 9 p.m featuring The John Crawford Jazz Band. Free Admission.

December 8: 5th Annual Christmas Ballroom Dance, 7 – 10 p.m. in Simmons Auditorium featuring Big Band Music by The Southport Sound at Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Avenue. Admission is $15 at the door. More Information at 262-925-8040 or www.kempercenter.com
